Hadfield Wouldn’t Be Surprised To See People Eventually Living On The Moon

What will be the future of space exploration in the years ahead beyond the space station?

Astronaut Chris Hadfield, who’s on a cross country speaking tour, Maritimes, wouldn’t be surprised to see people living beyond the confines of earth and slowly settling on the moon.

Hadfield has lived off the earth for a full six months of his life.

He says the recent Virgin Galactic spacecraft crash in California when a test pilot died and another was seriously injured is part of the learning process when something new and risky is tried. He doesn’t believe it will be the death knell for commercial exploration of space.
