The first snowstorm of the season is descending on Metro Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick.
A winter storm warning remains in effect for the region.
More than 35 cm of snow and ice pellets are expected overnight and tomorrow.
Environment Canada meterorologist Paula Sutherland says the storm system moved quickly up the U.S East Coast today.
Sutherland says gusty winds up to 60 km/h will also create blowing snow but that will depend on the amount of ice pellets that mixes in with the snow.
