Police Plead With Public For More Tips On Dorothy Tucker

After one arrest, but no charges, RCMP still depending on the public for tips in the case of a missing 53-year-old woman.

Dorothy Tucker of Oak Haven was reported missing 10 days ago on Monday, November 10th.

RCMP Cpl. Chantal Farrah tells us they are searching in any area they believe there could be evidence that could lead them to Tucker. She says yesterday they were still searching the wooded area near her home.

So far, extensive searches have been done on the ground with the help of an RCMP police dog, and from the air with the RCMP helicopter. Divers with the RCMP also searching in local waters in Oak Bay and Bayside.

Farrah says, “In this case, it’s really important, if anybody saw anything suspicious, around her home, in the area, that could be related, we are asking them to call the RCMP with that information.”

Police believe foul play may be involved in her disappearance because of evidence found at Tucker’s home. That evidence has not been made public as only the person or people involved in her disappearance would know about it.

Ms. Tucker is approximately 5’5′ tall and has a medium build. She has shoulder length auburn hair, blue eyes and she wears glasses. She may have been wearing a navy sweater, dark coloured jeans with rips on the front and tan coloured boots.

If anyone has any information regarding Dorothy Tucker or her whereabouts, please contact the St. Stephen RCMP at 1-888-506-RCMP(7267) or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at www.crimenb.ca or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
