Police Release More Information On Missing Woman Case

Ten days after the disappearance of 53-year-old Dorothy Tucker — Police releasing further information on the case.

RCMP say early on in the investigation, one man was arrested for questioning, but was later released. There have been no further arrests.

Three vehicles belonging to Tucker were seized from her property on McGeachy Lane in Oak Haven and are currently being examined by forensic identification experts for any evidence that could help locate the missing woman.

Police also say evidence found at the woman’s home suggests foul play — but that evidence can not be released to the public, as only the person or people involved in her disappearance would know about it.

Tucker was last heard from on the evening of Sunday, November 9th, and was reported missing on Monday,November 10th.

Extensive ground search efforts have been made in Oak Haven with the help of an RCMP police dog, as well as the RCMP helicopter. Divers working with the RCMP also searching the waters at the port in Bayside.

Investigators have also spoken to neighbours and people from the area to get any information they can to locate her.

Ms. Tucker is approximately 5’5′ tall and has a medium build. She has shoulder length auburn hair, blue eyes and she wears glasses. She may possibly have been wearing a navy sweater, dark coloured jeans with rips on the front and tan coloured boots.
