Minimum Wage To Rise In NB

The minimum wage in the province is going up.

Starting December 31st, it will rise from $10 to $10.30.

This is part of the provincial government’s commitment under the province’s first poverty reduction plan. It also marks the first increase to the minimum wage in New Brunswick since April 2012.

The provincial government plans to further increase the minimum wage to $11 per hour by 2017.
