One man has died following a violent incident involving several men on Peters Street yesterday.
Saint John Police Force responded to 31-33 Peters Street around noon after reports a man had been stabbed and another fell from a second-storey window. Two men were transported to the Saint John Regional Hospital by ambulances.
One is currently being treated while the other died from his injuries. Three men were taken into custody shortly afterward.
Everyone involved knew one another and it’s not considered to be a random act.
The Saint John Police Force’s Major Crime Unit was called to the scene and is continuing to investigate.
