Record Numbers at Moncton Coliseum Remembrance Day Ceremonies

There were record numbers for Remembrance Day Ceremonies at the Moncton Coliseum as over 6000 people attended.

The main floor was a patchwork of uniforms representing every branch of the Canadian Military, and there was also the bright red of the Mounties, as they gathered together to pay their respects to all who serve, especially their fallen brothers.

RCMP Staff Sergeant Gerry Landry said every Remembrance day is emotional, but this one was particularly moving.

“It’s a reflection time as we remember our friends and the danger that we face on a daily basis to maintain this beautiful country.”

Those who attended took the time to honour and thank the veterans, both young and old, who have served or continue to serve to protect us on a daily basis.
