Large Crowd Expected In Ottawa For Remembrance Day Ceremonies

One of the largest Remembrance Day crowds ever is expected to gather in Ottawa today.

The Royal Canadian Legion is estimating roughly 80 thousand people will attend ceremonies in the nation’s capital.

That would be the biggest crowd at the National War Memorial since it opened in 1939.

Security will be beefed up, with officers both in uniform and undercover, patrolling the area around the National War Memorial.
