On Remembrance Day we must honour those who have fallen and paid the ultimate price.
That from Premier Brian Gallant in his Remembrance Day message. Gallant says every day Canadian soldiers, including many New Brunswickers, put their lives at risk so we can enjoy the rights and freedoms many do not.
He points to the deaths of Constables Dave Ross, Doug Larche and Fabrice Gevaudan in Moncton earlier this year, along with the attacks in Ottawa and Quebec, saying these shocking events remind us we owe a great deal to anyone willing to put on a uniform and stand in front of our enemies and protect us.
