As Remembrance Day Approaches, the Legion Says Reservists Are Veterans Too

Poppies are now on sale for what many believe will be an even more sombre Remembrance Day than we have seen in recent years due to the recent deaths of two Canadian soldiers.

Larry Lynch of the Royal Canadian Legion tells us they are trying to get out the message that a veteran is a veteran is a veteran.

Lynch says Corporal Nathan Cirillo was a reservist standing on guard for his country and a veteran as well.

Poppies are on sale now and a slew of events are happening all over the country leading up to national and provincial ceremonies on November 11th.
