Moncton Miracles Gear Up for Their Season Opener On Saturday

The Moncton Miracles are anticipating a great season gearing up for their opening game at the Moncton Colliseum this Saturday night.

A new lease agreement , reach by both the city and the Miracles franchise takes them to 2017 and according to Moncton Mayor George Leblance , in just three short years the Miracles have become a strong franchise in the NBL of Canada and have become a mainstay in the community.

919 News spoke with Serge Leblanc who is the new Head Coach for the Miracles and he’s approaching the team in a different way than other coaches have in the past.

He says “I’m trying to do something relatively different with how things have been done in the past , it’s not to say that things that have been done in the past by other coaches were bad, they’re just not the way I think things should go in terms of getting a team to win many games all the time”.

Tip off time is 7 o’clock at the Colliseum..the Moncton Miracles will be taking on the Saint John Mill Rats.
