Tips For Halloween Safety

Trick or treat! That will be the common phrase on the streets tonight.

It’s Halloween, and the New Brunswick RCMP are recommending a few safety tips.

Corporal Chantal Farrah says you should be checking your children’s candy before they eat it.

“If there’s something that is suspicious that looks like it has been tampered with, that could have been done to harm someone, immediately report it to the RCMP or the Police in your area, and we will investigate.

Children should wear bright clothing or reflective strips so they are clearly visible.

Motorists are also being advised to watch their speed, and to take alternate routes around subdivisions where the goblins and ghosts are crossing streets.
