Family, friends, members of the Canadian military and politicians are expected to gather today to say good-bye to the young soldier gunned down at the National War Museum in Ottawa.
Twenty-four-year-old Corporal Nathan Cirillo will be laid to rest in Hamilton this afternoon.
Thousands attended a public visitation yesterday. Many of them never knew the solider personally, but wanted to pay tribute.
Cirillo died last week, when he was shot down by a gunman, who then opened fire on Parliament Hill.
