Natural Resources Minister Greg Rickford stresses Parliament is forging ahead and nothing will stop them.
It was an emotional day in Ottawa following the shooting death of Corporal Nathan Cirillo.
Rickford says the sacrifices and bravery of men and women given over the course of time for our freedom won’t be interrupted.
And that’s why it was so important to resume business at the House of Commons today.
Rickford says they won’t be intimidated by terrorism.
It was a united front today as differences were put aside.
Rickford also laid some flowers at the National War Memorial.
