Dominic Cardy’s politicial career is not over. The NDP Leader will run in the Saint John East by-election.
Cardy tells us he changed his mind because of support from the party and his wife.
He did find the resignation of Liberal MLA Gary Keating last week a bit peculiar.
He says in the end they have nothing to go with except what the Premier and Gary Keating said about it and have to hope it was on the up and up adding he goes into this with his eyes open about exactly what is required.
As for his competitors also running in the by-election, Cardy says they are folks that have a lot to contribute and he won’t say anything bad about them.
