PCNB President Hearing Discontent From Voters In Saint John East

The byelection race is beginning to take shape with voters in Saint John East scheduled to go to back the polls in just a few weeks time.

The Conservative nomination meeting is being held tomorrow night with Glen Savoie expected to be the candidate.

We asked President of the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick Jason Stephen what he thinks about Savoie’s chances, and he says while it’s up to the voters, they feel confident in his record as an MLA.

Stephen tells us he’s been hearing a lot of anger and disappointment from the voters of Saint John East following the unexpected resignation of Liberal MLA-elect Gary Keating.

Savoie lost to Keating by just nine votes in the provincial election.
