Today in Fredericton, it will be out with the old government and in with a new one.
During last night’s city council meeting, Moncton Mayor George LeBlanc took time to praise council’s good working relationship with the outgoing Alward Conservatives.
“This Council had a tremendous working relationship with the outgoing government who worked very well with this Council. For the City it was a very good partnership.”
LeBlanc says he looks forward to working with the incoming Liberals and maintaining a positive working relationship with the provincial government.
Just prior to the election campaign, the Conservatives announced almost 24 million dollars toward the construction of Moncton’s proposed downtown centre.
