Corporal Francis got national attention when he smoked medical marijuana while in uniform.
Francis spent 21 years with the RCMP. He has been on medical leave and was scheduled to be sentenced November 3rd on three charges of assaulting fellow police officers and breaching a court order.
There’s no word on a cause of death.
