A newly elected provincial government is a bit of a victory for the New Brunswick Anti-Shale Gas Alliance.
Spokesperson Jim Emberger says they tried to work with the previous Conservative government but were unable to get anywhere with David Alward.
But he expects to have a more open conversation with incoming premier Brian Gallant.
He looks forward to working with the Liberals since they have called for a moratorium on the shale gas industry here.
Emberger says his group was also happy to see the Green Party get a seat noting how David Coon will now have a voice in the legislature.
