There’s nothing like a home cooked meal and a feeling of home to make you feel better, that’s what the Ronald McDonald Family Room at the Moncton Hospital offers. It strives to provide for families with children who are receiving medical care at the hospital.
According to the Family Room Coordinator Diane McCaie, they still need many volunteers to lighten the load, “We are open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm and our goal is to have two volunteers per shift.”
There’s a kitchen in the Family Room where meals can be cooked and volunteers are needed to bring food and prepare a meals for about 20 people once or a few times per year. For more information, please call 867-6582.
