Looking for a way to save money when you shop? Perhaps using coupons is the answer!
The Moncton Coupon lady has put together the first ever Couponers Convention in the Hub City, and it’s being held tomorrow at Future Inn, located off Mapleton Road.
Ruth Ann Swansburg says they’ll hold seminars that will teach you how to get started, “We’re going to start out by talking about the basics of couponing and how it can change your life. We have someone coming in to talk about negotiating larger purchases and another person to talk about general budgeting, a full day of seminars and at the end we’re going to have a coupon swap.”
Swansburg says before she became “The Moncton Coupon Lady”, her family of three was spending between $250 and $350, but now, even with a new addition, making it a family of four, she is spending about $125 every two weeks.
Tickets for the Convention are $50 and you can register online or at the door. It runs from 9am until 4pm tomorrow.
