St. Stephen RCMP Looking For Man Who Followed 11-Year-Old Boy

RCMP in St. Stephen asking for help from the public identifying a man who followed an 11-year-old boy.

Police say it happened near a soccer field on Marks Street when boy walked past the man who then turned around and started following him. The boy sped up then began to run, and while the man tried to keep up with him, the boy outran him.

The man is described as being in his 30s to 40s, white, of an average build, standing 5’10, with a short grey/black beard and hair.

He had been wearing a sweater over a grey hoodie which appeared to have a leather hood, black jeans with holes in the knees and upper leg of the jeans, and a ball cap. He also carried a black, grey and red backpack with a bungee cord woven in the back.
