Union Says Canada Post Has More Changes For Metro Moncton

Canada Post will soon be hit with even more cuts according to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

Last year, we learned that door to door delivery would disappear.

Now they’ve learned that the mail sorting plant in Saint John will be moved to Halifax.

President of the Moncton Local of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers Line Doucet says this is a really bad idea and will lead to delays in the mail system.

The public is invited to an information session tonight, hosted by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

It is being held at the Lion’s Club on Coverdale Road in Riverview starting at 6:30-pm.
