A Moncton father and son have been charged with holding a Moncton woman against her will.
51-year-old Jimmy Roger Albert and 23-year-old Derick Jamie Albert were charged with unlawful confinement in Moncton court this afternoon.
The pair agreed to sign a court undertaking with strict conditions and were released.
Another court date of October 15th was set when they will elect their mode of trial.
Codiac RCMP responded to a home on Elmwood Drive yesterday afternoon after a woman claimed she was being held against her will.
Three men were inititally arrested although a 28-year-old man was later released.
No one was hurt but the scene was blocked off for about an hour.
Police say the accused and the complainant knew each other but this was not a case of domestic violence.
