Government dignitaries, RCMP officers and family and friends gathered in Regina, Saskatchewan over the weekend for the annual RCMP National Memorial Service, and three officers killed in the tragic events on June 4th in Moncton were honoured.
Constable Fabrice Georges Gevaudan, Constable Douglas James Larche and Constable Dave Joseph Ross were amongst the names of the 234 fallen officers on the Honour Roll that were read. Their names have also been added to the Memorial Wall.
The service honours officers who have died in the line of duty since 1876.
