Moncton fire crews were kept busy early this morning putting out a minor blaze in the downtown area.
The call came in around 1:30 this morning to a two storey, four unit apartment complex on Spurr Street near Botsford.
Platoon chief Dennis Dollemont says they believe the small fire began on a deck on the second floor and the flames spread up an outside wall.
Crews managed to extinguish the fire quickly and only minor damage was sustained on the wall.
No one was injured and Dollemont says they don’t think the fire was suspicious.
