A slew of NDP candidates that used to be in other parties joined their new leader for a BBQ in Hampton.
Leader Dominic Cardy says the reason this is a great province is because in the past, the Liberals and Conservatives connected with the people of the province and did good things.
Cardy says these candidates now with NDP were abandoned by their parties.
He says its not opportunistic for these candidates to come run for a party that doesn’t have any seats.
Cardy says he’s happy with his performance in the debates saying he got their message out.
He is happy to see that Brian Gallant has noticed their progress and is now directly attacking the NDP.
