There will be a lot of hugging going on at CFB Gagetown today. It’s all a part of a project by New Brunswick photographer Keith Minchin, who has been travelling the province taking pictures of communities embraced in group hugs.
The photos will then be used in his upcoming book, “Faces of New Brunswick”.
Today, he has invited members on the base to take part, “People of CFB Gagetown and Oromocto area, military personnel and veterans are encouraged to be a part of this. Certainly this a very special one for me. My father was a member of the military and I have a very special place in my heart for them.”
Minchin says it’s important that we celebrate the important role that the military plays in our province and country.
The group hug photos will be taken at 12:30 this afternoon.
