The United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick hopes to raise almost 2.3 million dollars in its 2014 fundraising campaign.
This year’s chair is the Regional Vice-President for RBC, Lisette Michaud-Carrier. She says, “This year’s campaign theme is happy, because those dollars go a very long way to help many people in our community, be happy.”
The United Way’s annual campaign raises money mainly through workplace payroll deductions and individual and corporate donations.
All funds raised stay here and benefit much-needed non-profit organizations in the community.
