Music, Cake And More To Celebrate 50 Years Of UNB Saint John

A lot of red and black at UNB Saint John to kick off the 50th anniversary celebrations at the Tucker park campus.

A large tent is set on the quad with pictures on display from throughout the years.

Vice-President Robert MacKinnon performed with the band Ivory Tower which is made up of UNB staff or alumni.

George Gosse attended the school back in 1964 telling us the current campus was a forest back then with the campus uptown of only 100 students.

Gosse says it changed his life.

Rod Campbell was also a student in the very beginning adding university would not have been possible for him if it weren’t for this campus.
