RCMP and other police forces crackdown on drugs and organized crime

More details are expected to be released tomorrow on a number of searches being done by RCMP, The Canada Border Services Agency and other community police forces in Southern New Brunswick.

This is in connection with an ongoing investigation into drugs and organized crime.

RCMP Corporal Chantal Farrah says several people have already been arrested at various addresses across the region, including Moncton, Saint John, Scoudouc, Seeley’s Cove and Grand Manan.

This investigation is also ongoing in Laval, Quebec, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Several people having already been arrested, and will be appearing in court this afternoon in Saint John.
