Moncton teacher back in court on sex offences

MONCTON, N.B. – A sexual assault charge has been dropped while two more charges have been laid against a high school teacher involving two girls under 18.

Kenneth Peter Gunn, 39, of Riverview appeared in Moncton court and now faces a charge of committing sexual exploitation against one girl and committing sexual exploitation and attempting to commit sexual exploitation against a second girl.

A preliminary hearing has been set for February 26.

Gunn was a teacher and tutor at Harrison Trimble High School and Mounties say the charges stem from alleged incidents between September 2011 and November of last year.
