MONCTON, NB–A new date for a preliminary hearing is expected to be set today for a Moncton teacher accused of sex offences.
Thirty-nine-year-old Kenneth Peter Gunn is charged with sexual exploitation and sexual assault.
He was originally scheduled for a prelim in August, but it didn’t go ahead because the Crown couldn’t locate one of the witnesses who was supposed to testify.
The incidents involve two girls under the age of 18 and are alleged to have taken place between September 2011 and November 2013 while Gunn was a teacher and tutor at Harrison Trimble High School.
Gunn is not in custody, but is on a court undertaking with several strict conditions.
