River of Pride wraps today

MONCTON, N.B. – The River of Pride festival wraps up a week of celebrations with a jam-packed day of events for the whole family today.

The annual pride parade begins at 1 p.m. on Main Street followed by a family fun day at Bore View Park and a block party to finish off the weeklong events tonight on St. George Street.

The park celebrations run from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Street closures today due to the River of Pride Festival include Main between Foundry and Bore View Park, starting at 1 p.m.

St. George Street will also be closed between Archibald and Lutz streets between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. for the block party.
