MONCTON, NB–A Fredericton man charged in connection with an alleged kidnapping incident in Moncton will be back in court today for a bail hearing.
Hyper James A’Hern is charged with kidnapping while using an air pistol and uttering death threats.
Codiac R-C-M-P arrested the 25-year-old man in Centennial Park around 9:30 last Wednesday morning.
At the time of the arrest, he was with a 19-year-old Moncton woman.
Police say the pair used to be in a relationship.
No one was hurt.
The Crown is objecting to A’Hern’s release.
