Moncton, N.B. – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline, at the age of 77, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB.

Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Aurèle Lavoie and the late Aurella (Doucet) Lavoie.

Jacqueline was an important and caring presence for her parents and her brother Daniel, who passed away before her. She found happiness with her family, during summers at the family cottage in Pointe-du-Chêne, and with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved to babysit and watch grow.

She is survived by her brothers: Paul Lavoie (Christianne) of Dieppe and André Lavoie (Hélène Thériault) of Grand-Barachois, by her brother-in-law: Paul Gould (the late Irma) of Dieppe, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her brother Daniel, she was preceded in death by her dear sister Irma, who was her pillar until her passing in August 2025.

At the family’s request, there will be no visits or funeral services.

The burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe, New Brunswick.
