It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ronald Spencer announce his passing on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Ron was born on November 11, 1931, the son of the late Walter and Myrtle Spencer. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, baseball, and was inducted in the New Brunswick Hall of Fame when he played baseball for the Moncton Keefe Cubs. He loved cheering his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Yankees.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Barbara with whom he shared 72 years of marriage, his daughter Kathy (David, Godbout) of Hampton, sons Dave (Norma) of Dieppe, and Jeff (Susan) of Moncton, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter Cindy, his brother Walter and sister Dorothy Thomas.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
The family would like to thank the staff of unit 4600 of the Moncton Hospital for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
