Drugs, cash seized during Que. and N.B. police raids

A large seizure of drugs and other items in a police probe investigating a group with links to the Hells Angels.

The National Organized Crime Enforcement Squad (ENRCO) and the North Shore Integrated Regional Squad (ERM), in collaboration with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and various municipal police forces, conducted raids in Quebec and New Brunswick.

In a news release, Sûreté du Québec searches were conducted in communities including Montreal and Laval, Quebec, and Riviere-Verte and St. Basile, New Brunswick.

Seventeen homes and 17 vehicles were searched last week and again on February 4.

Items seized include:

• 15 kilograms of cocaine;
• Over $564,000 in cash;
• Over 50 cell phones;
• Nomads NB HA prospect jacket;
• Street Soldiers North Shore member jacket;
• TR HA prospect jacket;
• Red Devils Maritimes member jacket;
• 7 long guns;
• 2 handguns;
• 2 body armor vests;
• 3 tasers;
• 500 THC vapes;
• Silver bars worth approximately $5,000

This is part of an investigation launched by police around two years ago.
