Shediac, NB– It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Elaine Lirette, one day before her 77th birthday, that occurred on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, at Residence O Bon Soins.
Born in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Blair Richard and the late Doreen Richard (Snow).
She will be sadly missed by her four daughters: Louise Roy (Henri) of Cocagne, Nicole Breau (Denis) of Shediac, Monique Cormier (Pierre) of Haute-Aboujagane, and Natalie Lirette (Jeff Walton) of Shediac; her former husband of many years Jean-Louis Lirette; her five grandchildren: Josée, Luc, Ghislain, Madison, and Alexis; her three great grandchildren: Mila, Lennon, and William; her two brothers: Terry and Sheldon; her five sisters: Pauline, Bernice, Marlene, Jeannine, and Anna; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her two brothers: Blair and Alyre.
Celebration of life will be held at the Shediac Legion, on Saturday, May 30th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
