McKay’s Wild Blueberries is now open for the season and a visit on the way back from Grand Manan Island yesterday was a must!

This roadside farm stand is a New Brunswick / Nouveau-Brunswick legend!

If you’ve never been, here are some mermaid-approved items:

Their blueberry pie is fantastic and only $10.

Their blueberry muffins are UNREAL. You can’t have just one.

You’ll want to order the Blueberry Shortcake with a scoop of ice cream (vanilla or blueberry.) Trust me on this one. It’s a decadent roadside treat!

It’s worth getting off the highway in Pennfield!
