Shediac, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Florine Landry, aged 89, which occurred on May 8, 2026, at Villa Providence in Shediac, NB.

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, on October 16, 1936, she was the wife of the late Raymond Landry and the daughter of the late Victor Gallant and the late Aurore Gallant (née Babineau).

She will be sadly missed by her son, Denis Landry (Anne Blanchard) of Shippagan, and by her cherished grandson, Sébastien. Florine was the last surviving member of her immediate family and leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Maria, in infancy; her sisters: Lorraine Maillet, Simonne Chiasson, and Lucie, in infancy; and her brothers: Antoine, Joseph, Émile, and Jean.

The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Villa Providence for the excellent care given to Florine.

Donation can be made by the donor’s choice.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. only, at Passage Shediac Bridge, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB E4R 1T3, (506) 532-1050. There will be no funeral service.
