1934 – 2026
Mae Boudreau-Pedersen of Moncton passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the age of 91 years. Born in Sainte Rose, NB, she was a daughter of the late Edouard and Alexandrine (Caissie) Boudreau.
Mae lived a life filled with faith, purpose, and unmistakable strength. After her time serving God, she carried her steady voice and purpose into family life, her career in health records, and the many community causes she championed (Habitat for Humanity, YWCA, CHP, Pro-life). She was devoted, hardworking, and unafraid to stand up for what mattered, it was important that she advocated for those who needed help —including the elderly she supported well into her own later years by caring for them. Fiercely independent and full of conviction, she inspired her family by the way she lived: honest, strong, and always true to herself. She has finished her life with nothing left undone, leaving behind love, example, and a legacy of integrity.
Mae is survived by her daughter, Anna Maria Pedersen (Brian Hedd) of Moncton; sisters Alfreda Thébeau (late Auguste), Elmire Grant (Conrad) and Edouardine Boudreau (Delpha), brother, Lévis Boudreau (Nicole); grandchildren, Emma LeBlanc and Jacob LeBlanc and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mae was predeceased by sisters, Exelda Gaston, Valentine Desrosiers; brothers, Jean-Louis Boudreau and Amedée Boudreau; granddaughter, Ava Kathleen LeBlanc.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre & Fergusons Crematorium, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview, NB, E1B 1V6, (506-857-9544) where visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 11:00am until service time at 12:00pm from Fergusons Community Chapel.
