Ane Marie Trottier, 77, of Bouctouche, NB and formerly of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Tuesday evening, May 5, 2026. Born in Sudbury, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Madeleine (Chartrand) Jeanveau.

For many years Ane worked as a Customer Service Representative in the Hospitality Industry. She enjoyed listening to Old Country Music, loved plants, birds, nature, cooking, baking and playing games on her computer. Ane was also strong person of faith and prayer, she also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ane will be sadly missed by her loving husband of over 59 years, Ralph Trottier of Bouctouche, NB; her children, Madeleine (Dave) Weegar of Hamilton, ON, Ralph Jr. Trottier of Hamilton, ON and Chantelle (Stephane) Trottier of Rogersville, NB; cherished grandchildren, Bradley, Brittany, Paul, Khamryn, Aaron and Ashley; great grandchild, Hudson; several siblings and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Ane was predeceased by her baby boy Gilbert and many of her siblings.

Private family interment to be held in Lasalle Cemetery, Sudbury, ON at a later date. Ane’s arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home & Fergusons Crematorium, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995).
