Riverview, NB– It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rachel Bourgeois, 79, on Sunday, May 4^rd, 2026, at The Moncton Hospital in Moncton, NB.

Born in Moncton, NB- she was the daughter of the late Henri Gauvin and the late Dorilla (Melanson) Gauvin.

Rachel will be sadly missed by her sisters: Mai Gosselin (Tim) of Winnipeg, Stella Smith (late Eddy) of Moncton, Francine Kutnahorsky (Wolf) of Bocabec, NB and Monique Gauvin (Michel) of Ottawa; her brother, Paul Gauvin (Sue) of Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Abbi Bourgeois; as well as her son, Denis Bourgeois.

In respect to Rachel’s family, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
