Bouctouche NB- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rhéal Richard, aged 78, on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the Foyer Château du Bel Âge in Bouctouche, NB.

Born in Acadieville, NB, on March 27, 1948, he was the son of the late Adolphe Richard and the late Eveline Richard (née Frenette).

Rhéal will be sadly missed by his sister, Maria Labbé (late Guy Labbé) of Campbellton, and his brother, Fernand “Fern” Richard (Claudette) of Bouctouche, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers: Alcide and Adrien.

Rhéal worked in the construction industry as a roofer.

In keeping with Rhéal’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Burial will take place at the Acadieville Cemetery in the spring.

Donations in Rhéal’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
