A guilty plea for a first-degree murder in Pointe-Sapin.
Alphonse Daigle entered the plea in the Court of King’s Bench in Moncton on Wednesday.
RCMP responded to reports of shots fired at a Route 117 residence in April 2024, where they found 52-year-old André Després dead.
Seventy-year-old Daigle was arrested nearby with the assistance of a Peace Officer from Parks Canada.
Daigle will return to court in May for sentencing.
