1942 – 2026
Saint-Edouard-de-Kent-It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Robichaud aged 83, who passed away on Monday March 23, 2026, at the Dr. Georges L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, N.B.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, N.B., on April 9, 1942, Albert was the son of the late Francois Robichaud and the late Elmire Robichaud (née Goguen).
He spent most of his life in Waltham MA, USA, where he worked in construction until his retirement. In 2013, he returned to Canada to move to Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, where he continued to enjoy a quieter life surrounded by his family.
Albert was a humble and kind man who loved to laugh and share joyful moments with those around him. He had a deep spiritual connection to the Catholic faith, which guided him throughout his life. His warm personality and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He will be lovingly missed by his longtime at heart Juliette Duguay, as well as a sister-in-law Bernadette Robichaud and by his many nieces, nephews and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne (née Allain) Robichaud, and by his brothers: Roméo (late Corinne), Roger (and Roger’s son Gérard), and Gérard (Bernadette).
Albert’s memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness, laughter, and gentle spirit.
Forever remembered and deeply missed.
Visitation will be at Passage-Maillet in Bouctouche on Wednesday April 1, 2026, from 2pm to 4pm with a funeral service in the Passage-Maillet Chapel at 4pm.
