N.B. gas prices continue to rise

Gas prices will be bumped up this weekend in New Brunswick.

A source says the Energy and Utilities Board will use the interrupter clause overnight to raise the price of regular gas by five or six cents a litre, to a max price of nearly $1.82 per litre.

Diesel will also increase overnight by 11 or 12 cents a litre, reaching a maximum price as high as $2.52 per litre.

This is the second time that diesel will go up this weekend since the New Brunswick and Energy Utilities Board’s last weekly price adjustment, which occurs every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
