At BGC Riverview, we believe that no child should have to try to learn on an empty stomach. That’s why our free Breakfast Programs at Riverview East School (RES) and Riverview Middle School (RMS) are such an important part of supporting children and families in our community.
Every school day, students walk through the doors knowing a healthy, nutritious breakfast is waiting for them — at no cost to their family.

For many families, mornings can be rushed and challenging. Rising food costs continue to impact households across Riverview, and food insecurity is a very real concern. By offering a free breakfast program at both RES and RMS, BGC Riverview removes barriers and ensures that every student has the same opportunity to start their day strong.
Serving Up to 400 Students a Day
On an average school day, our programs can serve up to 400 students across both schools. That’s 400 children who are better prepared to concentrate, problem-solve, and succeed academically because they’ve had a nutritious start.
Behind every breakfast served is a team of caring staff, volunteers, and community supporters who understand that something as simple as a meal can change the course of a child’s day.
