1962 – 2026

 It is with deep sadness that the family of Shelley Lynn Jardine announces her unexpected passing on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at her home in Riverview.   Shelley was the beloved daughter of the late Jack and Margaret Mayer.

Shelley will be remembered for her deep love of family and the warmth she shared so freely with those closest to her. She especially treasured her time as a grandmother, spending countless happy moments playing games, baking, and simply enjoying time with Elias. She found peace and happiness in gardening and took great pride in helping her daughter create a garden filled with life and beauty.

Shelley leaves behind her loving children, Madison Cote (David) and Jeremie Mayer, and her cherished grandson, Elias, who brought endless joy and pride to her life.

She was predeceased by her sister, Debbie Mayer.

Her passing was sudden and far too soon, and her family was not ready to say goodbye. Shelley will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by all who knew her.

At Shelley’s request, there will be no funeral or visitation. The family will privately host a celebration of her life at a later date to be announced and the family will warmly invite all who knew and loved Shelley to come together to share memories and celebrate her life.
